Wedding Reception room hire

The Hand Hotel has a history of more than 400 years and is one the oldest hotels in Wales. When you come to the Hand Hotel you become part of that history.

The first thing that you will need to do when you decide to get married is to work out your budget. Next you need to decide on which service you would like either a church, registry office or for those requiring a more intimate wedding service, the Hand Hotel has a civil marriage license.

When you have confirmed the date, book and arrange your reception. We can offer help and advice with the plans for your celebrations and lighten you of any worries you may have in the months leading up to your special day.

Your wedding breakfast will take place in either the Regency Restaurant or The Brewery Suite. The maximum number for a comfortably seated reception in The Regency Restaurant is 60 and 140 in The Brewery Suite. Both rooms open onto our gardens, which provide the perfect setting for your photographs and reception drinks.

At the Hand Hotel we appreciate the need for flexibility and choice. We pride ourselves on our personal attention to detail and we will advise you along the way, from planning your menu, to seating plans, flowers and entertainment.

Confirmation of Booking

Provisional bookings will be held for up to seven days without obligation. Once you have made a decision, confirmed bookings are secured with a non-refundable deposit of £300.

 

The following are included in the menu per person prices:

• The four-poster bridal suite for your wedding night
• Red carpet on arrival
• The hire of our cake stand
• Room hire if you meet the minimum number of guests*
• Flower arrangement for top table

* Minimum numbers: Regency Restaurant 40, Brewery Suite 80

If minimum numbers are not met then a standard room hire charge for the Regency restaurant of £200 and £300 for The Brewery Suite

If your guests should wish to stay overnight the tariff is as follows:
Double/Twin Bedroom £55
Single Bedroom £50
Family Room £65

Civil Ceremonies

The Hand Hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies in both the Regency Restaurant & Brewery Suite. The cost for hiring the room for your civil ceremony is £100. However, if you are holding your civil ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception here at the Hand Hotel this charge will be waived.
